Hollywood Life is Comparable to High School Life

Hollywood is so like high school, what with its cliques and gossip. Everybody wants to accept each other in this showbiz world. If they don't, they become suicidal to the point of  'accidentally' overdosing themselves. There ain't such thing as accidentally overdosing yourself. Why do they become so suicidal? I mean, they got so much going for them. They're celebrities, for pete's sake. I guess they want others approval. But they should have loved themselves more. Who cares about others' judgement, criticism of you become you before you 'accidentally' overdosing on yourself? You have so much to live for, celebrities of the world.

Fountain of Youth

I am eternally youthful. I will never, ever, EVAH so much as aged. Curse genetics! No one will ever, not ever take me seriously. Though I am of middle age, I look like I just started high school! Why can't I ever look my age?! Sometimes I hate my genes!
You know what? The young want to look older, and the old want to stay younger. How about that?
All I want is to be taken seriously. I am NOT a kid, (though like one!) I can understand adult topics. Why must y'all ignore and treat me like an little kid when I could just as well speak and understand like any adult would?

Travel: Life´s Misses & Missteps

We almost missed our connecting flight from Toronto to Lisbon! Why you ask? `Cause our 1st flight was delayed. I didn´t take advantage of the TV they had on the 1st flight. Sucks.
Today´s was our 1st day out ´n´ about in Lisbon. Had fun ´cept it was raining. Guess there´s no worries about a drought here! Yesterday we hung out at the mall; today we went sightseeing. Did all those touristy stuff.
On the other hand, the bathroom didn´t have toliet seat covers; one place you had to pay 50Ç to get in. Breakfast at our hotel (Holiday Inn Express) was lame.

Surrealism

Sometimes I think I live in a surreal live ~ like nothing and everything is real or is it?
Tell me, what's real and what's fantasy?
When I read a book or watch a movie, I forget about reality and think fiction is reality, or maybe reality is fiction.
I merge them together, time and time again, over and over, repeatedly.
But life's marvelous that way 'cause you get caught up with fantasy you don't know what's real anymore, you forget what's what.
I wanna escape from reality and be a character in a storybook
Coming down to earth ~ letting reality sinks in ~ that sucks the fun out of everything.
Fiction life is much better than anything 'cause there's 'once a upon time' and then there's 'happily ever after'

Addicted to Technology

Why is it everywhere I turned, I see someone attached to their gadgets?!
I know it's the 21st century and all, but we shouldn't have to rely on hi-tech to run our lives.
Lose a phone, lose a life is the mentality
When I was a kid, it was lose your wallet, lose your life, for everything was in your wallet It actually still is, but people put their whole lives, it seems, into one little device.
Those gadgets aren't too healthy for you. It can make you a 100 different kinds of sick, you know, sap your energy, make you into a zombie, could be addictive, worse than a drug.
Those computer screens are bad for your eyes, could give you a migraine if you're at it for too long.

How come I never see people just talking, having fun without electronics, maybe playing board games?
I guess those days are ancient history....
Wish those days would come back. Nobody just talk face-to-face anymore.

Follow the Leader

Why do people follow celebrities? Even celebrities follow each other. Cray, cray.
They oughta be their own individual selves.
Who cares about dumb fashion trends, who's marrying whom, who's had the latest celebrity meltdown, who's is splitting with whom, who gave another child another unusual name, the latest crisis of the week?!

WHO CARES?!

I think our culture is in crisis right now. Why? Cause we follow everybody's movement online. We model ourselves after them. Kids turn to eating disorders b/c they think it's 'cool.' They do it 'cause the stars are doing it. The models have to do it because it's their job, but at what risk? To kill themselves. Hell no!

Speaking of idols, my current idol is Bethany Hamilton who is not famous for being a professional surfer but for surfing with an arm. You read that right! She only has one arm! She can not only surf, but skydive, not once but twice! She also does charity work. Through her faith, she has overcame all obstacles to become a pro surfer. She has inspired me and others like me to become more than they can be. She is truly an inspiration. Oh, there are other celebrity role models to look up to besides Bethany like Angelina Jolie, who is a humanitarian, having adopted kids from practically every country she's been in. She even had breast reduction surgery to reduce the risk of cancer.

Spoiled Celeb Life

I wanna be young again so that I can be free of responsibilities, reading my fave books and watching television and movies nonstop.
Celebrities don't need to worry about responsibilities, I'll bet. They got handlers waiting on 'em hand & foot, caring for their little ones. Lucky stiffs!
I so carve that life....I mean, who wouldn't?! They got people to pamper them all day & all night long. Wish I can get the star treatment once in awhile. (I actually do get treated like a princess when I go on vacation, but stars get it 24/7!)
Life as a celebrity must be so enriching!
From spa treatment whenever they feel like it to nanny care 24/7, they got it!
Spoiled rich celebrity lifestyle!
We the common folks wish we have the glam & glitz celebrity lifestyle!
But what the celebrities don't have that we the commoner do have is love. The rich are the highest demographic to get divorce than the middle to lower class.

Dream in Spite of Life

You can't always accomplish dreams. As they say, life happens. But what you can do is daydream, fantasize, dream. (Hopefully, your dreams don't end being nightmares!)
Life has its obstacles to prevent you from making your dreams come true. Epic failure after epic failure, but you can overcome it if you try, try again. Don't give up. If life throws you a curveball, throw one back. If life deals you lemon after lemon, make lemonade!

As for me, I feel extreme satisfaction when I achieve a certain goal. When I start a job, I may feel overwhelmed, but then I get focused and then when I'm done, I feel like a million bucks!

Greed-people are always greedy for money, which is one of the seven deadly sins, a vice, so to speak. Granted, without money, we wouldn’t have shelter over our heads or clothes on our backs, but people who are already rich still want more money? What’s that about? It means they are beyond greedy. They were born with a silver spoon in their mouth, probably have a trust fund or two and they still want more riches? Unbelievable! They think the world’s at their beck and calling. They live in the lap of luxury. They’re buncha spoiled, corrupt rich brats, that’s all I can say for them! They even do reality shows as a publicity stunt. What a joke! How ludicrous! I’ll bet they just eat up the paparazzi following them around. Camera-shy, they ain’t! They’re attention-hungry, for the 15 minutes or 15 seconds of fame. As a matter of fact, they don’t even have to have any talent at all. So talentless! So worthless! So what?!

Dazed & Confused

Why do entertainers murder themselves for no particular reason? They’ve got so much, so much going for them, and they spoil it all by killing themselves. They’ve got so much to live for, so much potential. It may be a case of accidentally overdosing or a much deeper illness like depression that cause death at their own hands.

It’s so terribly heartbreaking for their colleagues and fans, but most especially for their loved ones, the ones nearest and dearest to them, their family and friends. It’s like we, too, had lost a member of a family because we had been a fan for however long.

For the rich, there is easy access to drugs and alcohol. When they get high or drunk, they’re s-l-o-w-l-y killing their very brain cells. Not being a scientist, I don’t know for sure, but I think that’s why people act so irrational after taking drugs or drinking. Drugs and alcohol s-l-o-w-l-y eats away at your system, killing you with every breath you take. It’s like cancer spreading through your body, spreading the disease through every pore in your body.

I know drugs make you feel high, make you act stupid, but they could also KILL you. Amy Winehouse and River Phoenix are examples. Drugs could not only mess you up, but they are also addictive-it’s like, I gotta have it, I gotta have it. It could make you do and/or say things you wouldn’t normally say and/or do.

On the other hand, alcohol is poisonous. It cause you to be inebriated. And make you affect your judgment of things. It can slur your speech. It can also, like drugs, be addictive and make you do and say things you don’t mean, so beware! Don’t abuse alcohol; drink in moderation.

Fake Reality Shows

Fact: my tormented life. Life deals with its up & downs. Lately, I feel more down than up. Nothing worked out the way I wish, hope for. I want to reach my highest possible potential, but some so-called people are always holding me back. Wish there aren’t hurdles, obstacles in life. Wish everything & anything in life is more straightforward. I hate competitions. People are always competing for say, a job, housing, a spot on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, celebrity status. People compete in sports. I understand competing in sports and on game shows (Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, for instance), but reality shows take the cake!

Reality shows used to be fun, right? Now it’s just crazy! People with no talent whatsoever compete against others with limited or next to no talent, only to be voted (!) off at the end. Reality used to show raw footage of how one group of young adults deal with a whole different culture (thanks, MTV!), but now, reality shows have taken a whole new meaning! Now they make you do all these crazy stunts like eat worms (Fear Factor) creepy! Or even worse yet, there are all these backstabbing, catfights, which are mostly edited out. They leave the boring stuff out and put in the dramarama in.

Most of the talent competitions’ winners become overnight sensations. I don’t believe it! How can you become a sensation when you haven’t even work at it?! Unreal! I called those overnight sensations one-hit wonder because once you win, you just become a winner and then people forgot about you.

Reality shows have lost all of its entertainment value. Famous want to become even more famous. But why? As a publicity stunt, I suppose. Ordinary folks want a chance to be in the spotlight.

Summertime Over: Back to School

Why is summer so short nowadays?
We start back school in the Aug. ! Used to be after Labor Day...
We would relax and worry about nothin' .
As for me, I would go hang out at the comix store or go to the movies, where they have the air con on full blast.

Now we only have two months of summer; that sucks!
We should have three full months!

Tainted Love

You dream of a beautiful life for yourself and your significant other with a white picket fence and 2.5 kids but life, life isn't always so. It is filled with infidelity, trust, mistrust, communication, miscommunication, fidelity, fertitily problems, hope for the future, hopelessness, abuse & use.
What is the meaning of  a perfect relationship?  There is none that I know of.
You just have to work out your problems, for every relationship is fraught with problems within and without it.

Brighter Days Ahead

Why do things always seem that much more clearer, more brighter in the morning?
As the days drag on by, things seem bleak.
Maybe this was how Mr. Robin Williams felt.
That where was no one out.
Look, why do all those pathetic stars OD on purpose, committed suicide?
They got so much to live for.
Riches,money, fame.
I guess money doesn't buy everything.
It does, however, buy e-z access to alcohol, drugs, but there's always a silver lining in thee dreariness of life.
Being famous isn't all it's cracked-up to be.
The famous should have hope.
They oughta have a better perspective of live.
Boohoo, nobody likes me-I take my own life. Wrong! You shouldn't depend on others' to make you happy, you should rely on yourself to make yourself happy. :)
No one can achieve happiness but you and you alone.
Happiness comes from your outlook of life.

Reality Shows (R.S.) are so fake!

 

R.S. are fake b/c they just edit out the boring parts and leave in the dramatics. Real life is all drama 24/7, y'know. They just leave the dramatics to boost ratings. If the show's a one snoozefest, no one would watch it.

 

 

Me, I prefer scripted shows. Those shows have real actors. Reality shows are filled with people who want to do R.S. for publicity or whatever. Reality shows people can't act their way out of a paper bag!

Scripted shows are more entertaining, and those actors can actually act!

A Brand-New Life

So sick 'n' so tired of this ole life of mine.
Do u y'all blieve in reincarnation? I do.
When I died and reincarnated, I like to reincarnated as a cocoon that after a certain time will becom an awesome butterfly, which will float from one flower to another getting nectar off it. That is where they will get its life source.

Butterflies are such awesome creatures!

I could also be reincarnated as a fairy, spreading joy and laughter to lil ones everywhere.
Or a Pegasus, or even a centaur.
I so love to be reincarnated as a mythical creature, then I, too, will become merely a myth.
How awesome would that be?!?

Individualism

I am an individual.
In fact, all of us in this world are individuals. If we are all the same, it would be one boring world. We would go through the motions, not feeling a thing, like robots.
But we aren't robots!
We are humans with a mind of our own and feelings and lifestyles and opinions and whatever else that differentiate from us to other species that can't think for themselves.
We have a right to make our own choices/decisions as we see please.
We have our own ideas and viewpoints towards life.

Why do people bully? To make them feel better about themselves? I think it's wicked that people do that. We oughta love each other, no matter what, no matter how different we are all. We should conquer the world with love. We fighting each other because we hate each other. Instead, we oughta show understanding and patience, not war. Peace and love, y' know? Love makes the world go round.
We shouldn't fight; we should make peace. We are only decimating our population by fighting.

Faith

People don't trust each other anymore.
They don't trust the system; they trust anything that's around them.
Maybe that's one of the reason why we have some many problems-deaths, shootouts, killings, murders for trivial reasons, infidelity.

Why don't we have to live in such a wicked world?
Full of hate and faithless, naysayers?
Nasty bunch!

People oughta trust each other.

This movie, which I saw recently, is terrrrrrrrfic, but.....  the major male characters condone abusive behavior towards the woman and child of the movie. This is wrong, oh-so-wrong!
Male viewers will see it and will think it's okay to beat on women and children. It isn't okay at any time. even it is not okay to portray in the movies or to have it occur in real-time. In the movie, the male characters beat the woman and the child around like they were rag dolls.
Also, thanks, a lot, Kevin Costner, it's all yer fault we are in a drought, wasting all that water! It might've cost a heckuva lot to make that movie and all that hype but what it got to show for-nothing! but wasted water.
Although imo, it wasn't a gr8 movie, why wasn't it a box-office smash?!
Still, it makes a gr8 pirate, kiddie movie

Timid Females

I hate weak females.
Females need guys protection. Bwah!
Whining, helpless, 'woe me, woe me, I need a big, strong man to protect me.'
Gawd, why can't you protect yourself?! Stop being such a damsel-in-distress! It is the 21st century, after all! Females aren't supposed to weak, fragile creatures; it just a dumb stereotype. Females and their dumb feminine wiles. Gawd, how unbelievable! Flutter their eyelashes and men'll fall at their feet. Lame.
Females should be able to stand on their own two feet and protect themselves, not lead on some man for protection. Men aren't always that reliable, dependable.
Females could be big and strong too. They could also protect themselves at all costs without leaning on some man for protection. Women aren't all that weak-willed; they can be tough and strong when the situation calls for it. After all, how were they able to have babies and such. Some female die giving birth in the olden days before they had all those painkillers were invented. Men can't do that, hah!

Everybody's Demons

Secretly, each and every one of us has demon within demon within demon within us all.
Life is a travesty, a catastrophe for some of us.
It won't change the way society perceive us as individuals, for we all have different abilities to share with the wide world.
Everyone of us is different and unique; that's what makes us individuals, not robots, following rules; we have our own thoughts, our own ideas and opinions.
People say love is the answer; it isn't always. Love may sometimes, not always be tainted with hatred, loathing.
On a lighter note, people have faith that love can triumph over all evil. That is truth in many ways. Love can triumph over evil, only thing is vices get in the way. Terrible, horrible vices.

1) Freedom of religion, speech, press, assemble peaceably.
Jews were ostracized when Hitler was around; now Muslims are ostracized when Taliban is around. Everything nowadays scream Terrorists Alert!!!
As for speech, why do they have PARENTS ADVISORY EXPLICIT CONTENT  or any kind of censorship. Lame.
Press-there's a limit to freedom of press. You got your real hard news, which includes breaking news, and you got your run-of-the-mill yellow journalism, which includes paparazzi, who's dating whom. If you're a celeb, watch out, yellow journalism is at your beck and call. Kinda annoying to the celebs, but people makes big bucks off gossiping about celebs, but whatever happened to hard-hitting news. The facts, baby, the facts! They're more important than what-ifs.
Assemble peaceably-they don't the meaning of what it is. Make a change by taking a stand against an issue you disagree upon, but people have become violent in the process.
Look at the Vietnam War protests and the protest against segregation.These examples became violent, no thanks to the gov't.

2) Bear arms-shouldn't we bear arms just so that we could defend ourselves, not to kill others for the sake of killing. That's why we oughta have gun control laws.

4) Search house only with a warrant-It is still an invasion of privacy unless the person or people are criminals.

5) Accused Rights- Innocent till proven guilty. Can't self-incriminate  Right to remain silent. Miranda Rights, anybody? Trials affect w/ and w/o cameras due process

6) Right to fair and speedy public criminal trial by impartial jury where the crime was committed. The defendant must be able to question the accuser and to force favorable witnesses to testify. The accuser has a right to a lawyer. (I won't talk till my lawyer's present!)

7) Jury Trials-we, the people, decide who get what punishment! Let the people decide what punishment to get!

8)Prohibits-
 Unreasonable fines and bails for criminals.
 Unusual & Cruel Punishment: self-incrimination, torture

Cupid aka Eros in Greek Mythology doesn't tolerate hate of any kind, which includes racism, classism, sexism, bigotry of any sort. He (and how do you Eros a he-perhaps Eros was portrayed as a male; perhaps males were sensitive way back then.) prejudices against anyone just cuz they're different from them. Eros dispel hate from haters. Eros was like Zeus, only he didn't philander around like Zeus. He was a womanizer like Zeus. Why, then, were there so many wars back then?

Animal Trans Morphing

Speaking of animals, I wish I could trans morph into any animal, depending on my mood. 

When I'm happy, I would trans morph into a dove.

When I'm sad, I would trans morph into a raven or a crow.

But just for kicks, I would trans morph into a dodo bird (I know, I know, it's extinct, but it would weird people out if they saw one or a dinosaur, maybe a pterodactyls or triceratops (my fave dinos) Or maybe a dragon (Out of this world!) My dragon would put out fires in houses, no need for firefighters. Poor firefighters would be out of work.

Animal Life

Can't we, humans, life live more like animals?
After all, we are animals. We are mammals. We are fertile like all animals.
Why do we like clothing, rules, boundaries and such bind us?
We can't and shouldn't conform to the rules of our system.
Conformity brings control. Control confines us. I abhor both control and conformity!
Animals don't have rules, wear clothes, or have boundaries.
No, we, the humans, are the one who put control on them. I'll bet they hate to be controlled.
We should be less conformity and more nonconformity!

Last thought for today

Aspire to be what you want, not what others set out for you, what others planned for you.
Question:  what do you want out of your life?
Who cares what others want for you?
They say it may be in 'your best interest'=it's not.
Go for whatever you want in life, don't let others stop you from achieving whatever your heart's desire.

Passive Life

Don't mind me, I'm just an observer in this moment of time.
Blink, and it passes by ya without a moment's notice
Events happened without my knowledge, but who cares as long as I attain my own goals, never mind pother people's goals.
People should mind their own business and leave others well enough alone.
Sure, they make a business of poking their noses where they don't belong. They oughta concentrate on achieving their own goals and aspirations.

Utopia

We live in an utopia society where everybody accepts everyone.
We wouldn't need any rules because everyone is living in such harmony.
Everyone would get along with each other.
Mind you, everyone would still be have their individual freedom, their own individuality.
But 'hate' wouldn't be part of the vocabulary in this utopian society, for no one would hate.
Haters wouldn't exist.
It would be a lovefest 24/7. Everyone would accept each other no matter how different they are.

The Power of Me

People everywhere says I can't do stuff. They don't believe in me.
Well, I believe in me. I believe in me. I believe I could do whatever I set my mind to do.
Who gives a damn what others say? I sure as hell don't. I rise above naysayers and people who put me down. Who cares what they say as long as I believe in myself?
